Friday, May 17

Jazz Music. Head to The Heights for an intimate jazz performance at The Statuary.

Music. Enjoy live acoustic performances featuring Will O'Connor Trio at Battello.

Music. My Side of The Ocean, an Irish traditional band, will be performing at The Hutton.

Paint Night. Create beautiful art pieces at The Loft Art Lounge while listening to your favorite R&B hits. The event is BYOB.

Saturday, May 18

Comedy. Get ready to laugh at Emotionally Inappropriate Stand-Up Comedy at Smush Gallery. Featuring comics Rachael Parenta, Hilary Schwartz, Katie Compa, and Kendra Dawes, as seen on Lifetime TV, MTV and Animal Planet.

Craft Beer. Treat yourself to a variety of craft beers from top breweries, and experience the diverse talents of New Jersey-based artists at White Eagle Hall.

Flea Market. The Riverview Flea Market is back from 11am to 4pm. This event is part of a neighborhood-wide reuse and recycle day with the Pershing Field Neighborhood Yard Sale and Great Jersey City Clean Up!

Food Festival. Don't miss Jersey City Night Market, back and better than ever in Journal Square. This FREE event offers delicious international bites, unique shopping from local artists & artisans, and music from DJs!

Local Market. Explore the Handmade Market, an open-air bazaar featuring local artists and makers, selling fine art and premium hand-crafted goods.

Music Festival. Dancing Tony presents Pushing Up the Daisies, a music festival benefitting the Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery. Enjoy live performances by Maidin, Skylar Pocket, Pastiq Passion Band, Smugly Ugly, Papermaker and Supermutt.

Music. Caelan Cardello, a jazz pianist, will be performing at Belle Ame Cafe from 11am to 2pm.

Music. From 8pm to 10pm, Soy Amora, an alternative rock band with Latin vibes, will be performing at Fox and Crow in The Heights. 
 
Kayak Adventure. Make new friends and explore the beauty of Sawmill Creek Marsh, Anderson Creek Marsh and other great wildlife areas. Register with Hackensack Riverkeeper and enjoy stunning views of the urban wilderness from the water!

Tennis Meetup. Put your tennis skills to the test and connect with other women at Lincoln Park at this meetup!

Variety Show. Check out this two-hour event at Art House featuring music, movies and comedy.

Volunteer. Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse invites you to their introductory volunteer session this Saturday. They have free kayaking, paddle boarding and outrigger canoeing every weekend during the warm months. Help support their mission and make a difference in our community!

Art. The Mana Contemporary is hosting its Spring Open Studio day. Get ready to explore and take part in the vast array of experiences they have in store.

Farmer's Market. The Riverview Farmer's Market is open every Sunday from 10am to 2pm at Riverview Park.

Festival. Don't miss the Hoboken Arts and Music Festival featuring over 250 artists, crafters, local businesses, food vendors and live music!

Hike. Jersey City Connects is back with their monthly hike, and this time they are heading to Harriman State Park! Your ticket price includes transportation, and we have certified guides to accompany you on your journey.

Movie Night. Head over to Dull Boy to enjoy some delicious cocktails while watching the sci-fi film, Short Circuit (1986).

Music. Relax to some chill folk music at Made of Leaves in The Heights. Breakfast sandwiches and doughnuts are available to purchase!

Music. Jam out to Gel, an American hardcore punk band, at White Eagle Hall.

Run Club. Join The Grind Society with their weekly morning run. Runners of all levels are welcome to join!
